I am so sorry to hear about your pooch… she was adorable! Losing a dog is just as hard as losing a friend or family member. I still wear my old dog’s tag as a “dog tag” (pun intended) to remember her fondly. My deepest condolences.

Oh my gosh..I’m soooooo sorry about Molly. She’s a beautiful, beautiful dog.

I know a little of what you’re going through. My dog died unexpectedly and I cried for a week..and thought I’d never stop crying.

    My thoughts are with you.

    Dear Ms. Ahern,

I am so sorry for your loss. I am animal lover and I know how it feels to lose our special loved ones. I became a fan of yours when i saw images of your home (pre-grey) and now, wow! Molly made those images even more beautiful. i just received your book, which is wonderful. I know this seems odd, not ever having met, but please know that you are in my thoughts.

    Sincerely,
    Kate McCann

Hello from Kampala, Uganda. A friend in the UK recently bought me your “Girls Guide”. I love it and I’m drawing such great inspiration from it.

I’m sorry to hear about your loss. May you find comfort in the memories.

I first became aware of you Abigail when I rang you up to ask you about Molly when she was young. I was thinking of buying a dog and wanted one like yours (which never happened). Ever since I’ve admired the pictures with her in them the most. Sending you all my love. Martina x

Dear Abigail, I remember the first time I saw your dog it was in Living Etc and I showed the magazine to my sister because I loved your house and we were both taken with you gorgeous little “Molly” I could tell from the pictures she was quite something. I lost my poodle ‘Chester” this year he died of old age at 16 years and still today when I think of him will cry a tear. It is a sad time but think of all the happiness she brought you, that can never be taken away. Regards Annabel

    • abigailahern says:

Thank you Annabel for your very kind words – still at the crying every day stage although am sure it will pass with time – the great healer that it is supposed to be! And your right her spirit like your poodles never leaves. So thank you again x
