Balloons buried in the Christmas tree; so, so clever. I tried your blog tip of spraying the roses and dipping them in glitter, it was even more gorgeous than it sounded. Happy Christmas Abigail.

Happy Holidays to you, and thanks for telling me about Grazia – it’s a wonderful gift, like your blog :)

  5. Fiona says:

Oh sorry, not balloons they’re big baubles. You were too polite to point that out. Grazia’s Christmas issue only landed in Dublin this morning.

I saw your lounge in Living etc, although I have not put two and two together until now. I bought the copy as I love the picture above your mantle. If fact it was a friend who told me to get a copy as they said how much they loved it and it looked like some of the distressed silver/gold leaf pictures I make. I digress, it all looks wonderful. Happy New Year, I look forward to another year of good reading.

    Happy New Year Abigail!

I’m so glad I stumbled across your blog; you are an inspiration. I can remember visiting your first shop in Islington (about 5 years ago) when it was tiny and off the main high street. You’ve come along way and deservedly so.

  8. Just gave me such a great idea with the spray painted letters… The inside of my bookcase is fuchsia, would look cute to have a matching word… Just need to think of it now!
