Why is it that celeb’s who have all the money in the world often times have rather miserable looking homes? In comes generic designer who fills the celeb house with generic matchy matchy uptight stuff that looks expensive and is expensive and the end result looks like a corporate high-end chain of hotels. Yuk. Juliana Moore’s pad in NY which I have featured before is anything but that – beyond beautiful in fact. So is the pad of top polo player
Nacho Figueras. He resides in Buenos Aires (a place I long to visit) and has filled the place with an assortment of interesting finds combining Ikea rugs with high-end art and vintage finds. It fills lived in and loved and totally relaxed.
Big round of applause to Mr Figueras.
Very cool – heaps of books, art, flowers all set a very personal tone
It feels expensive but not uptight and the rug apparently is from Ikea
I was quite surprised by this room had thought it might all be super sleek instead it couples the relaxed vibe of the eating area (combing colour and pattern beautifully) with dark sexy units and heaps of personal stuff.
Two GOLD stars are in order xx
Did you stop to think for a moment Abigail, that maybe, Mr Figueras has been tuning into YOU?!!!!! ha ha! xo
Fabulous! x
Whats more, thats an Orla Kiely for Target table cloth. I’d give it another Gold Star just for that!
It is then another gold star you are utterly right
Is Mr Figueras a cool guy or what! This smacks of personality and sheer joy in making his house a home. Lots of details and I love it!
