Our new website is live – its morphed from being understated and bijou to a funked up, glamorous and if I may say so myself a very happy hunting ground of quirky individualism. You will find paintings which double up as storage units, beautiful felt rugs, scented candles, tons of vases, furniture, lighting that makes you look younger and of course our fabulous faux flowers. There is also a page of all my latest loves – updated each month plus this week we are getting super professional and updating our Facebook page whereby we will be running competitions (think gift vouchers worth zillions, or an hour of my time also worth zillions I have to say), insider tips, inspirational stuff and everything to do with making your pad fabulous.
We are not quite up to date with all our press pages we have had such amazing coverage that we are still scanning in as we speak all the historical stuff – so please bare with us on that front (all should be sorted by the end of the week). The interior design section has been updated, images of the store abound oh and if you are a trade customer wanting to stock our lights – all the details are on line.
Enough from me hope you like – all feedback welcome www.AtelierAbigailAhern.com

Thanks Jen – very sweet of you xx
Love love LOVE! I will mos def be placing lots of purchases very soon, we just moved to our new house and I have my eyes on a couple of things already! Watch this space. You do ship to Holland right? (we live in Amsterdam). Can’t wait!
Fabulous thank you, we do indeed ship to Holland all over infact
Hi Abigail,
I really love your style, but some feedback on the website – the fonts on the website all seem a little blurry.. I think because all the text is part of an image (and at low quality) rather than actual text, so the letters can’t be rendered more optimally by the viewer’s computer. Another negative side effect of text-as-image is that on the contact page it is impossible to copy or store your address, phone numbers or emails without typing them out manually.
Very jealous I’m far away from London and can’t visit your store in person.
Thank you for your feedback – not seeing the blurry text myself but shall pass that onto the boys plus good point about not being able to copy text from contact page. Thank you
oh loving the new website xxx
I agree on the fuzzy text issue, but after having a bit of a look, (I’m a web designer), it’s because the images you’ve made are actually a different size to the image size instructions in your html. So for example on the book page, the image itself is 819px wide and 456px high, but your html is telling the image to be 825px wide and 456px high. This is stretching the image and distorting it.
Thank you much appreciated for your input and its all been passed onto the web boys
Wow – love it all – I especially like the new side table. Hope to visit your store some time soon – good luck Abigail.
i’m as a web designer too, website content (text) should not be images, it’s a big no, no for websites today, it’s inaccessible and your website can be distorted on different platforms, e.g i read u’r blog and website on my phone xx
Thank you very much for this we are on the case x
