5.23 am late late late. Should be on the road by now, the alarm went at 4.30, but turned it off and went straight back to sleep. So guys sorry but my post shall be slightly delayed this morning, probably around midday. Worth waiting for though as I’m giving away a free masterclass!!

I’m 57, just retired and have a daughter who was an architect (until she started having kids – loads of them). Anyway i’m sick of her telling me that my decorating taste is set in the 80′s. I guess the 80′s aren’t in fashion again yet! I want to move into this Century at least. Also i live in Scotland in a wee sea side town where there isn’t much inspiration for an aspiring, granny decorator! So pick me please x
If I won this competition I think I would bounce around my house like a lunatic for about 2 hours in excitement as I love your style, use your girl’s guide to decorating and follow your blog. Ooh and not forgetting watch your new show on C4. I’m passionate about interiors and know I’ll learn so much from your masterclass and love absolutely every minute.
