Store reveal

Finally after a full on week like no other, ta da da, we have a new looking beautiful store. There are still a few tweaks to make – my office which is turning more into a mini sitting room at the back, still needs to be done, but we are so nearly there.   I don’t think I have ever been quite so proud, its like my child is all grown up, on Friday I didn’t actually want to leave fancied moving in and just hanging out.

Here are some peaks :

We now have a book section, so fav interior books of mine that I reference all the time are now in store and available to buy:

new store1

Super sized lamps hang out next to super sized lamps, not forgetting the odd rams head and heavenly jugs of faux flowers of course!

new store2

Our new selection of faux spring flowers takes your breath away. Mimosa, lilac, delph, roses, blossom are sooo beautiful this season.

new store3Also Gem, my sis and the best florist in the world (I can say that she has created some amazing creations for Paul Smith and President Clinton) has made a selection of bouquets small, medium and super sized that you can literally take away with you, and she will be in store every Thursday until around 3 if any of you guys ever need flower advice.

new store 4

new storeSo there you go some little peaks. Every thing looked so cool when Gem and I left on Friday that I said to her that I kind of wish it would stay like that, so nothing would sell EVER, people could just come in (maybe pay a pound, we have to make a living somehow right ) look around and go again! Cool concept no. NO i know a rubbish concept but you know what I mean! Worth all the hard work and the long hours because when you walk through the door you smile, its an interior that makes you happy. No matter what is going on in the world, in your life, with the weather you enter this little magical world and your heart rate beats just that little bit faster. That to me is what decorating is all about!

Happy Monday

Love the wall lights! Are they for sale as well?

    • abigailahern says:

They are they are amazing, gold inside so they cast the most magical glow. They are so new I don’t have an exact price but I believe they around the £550 mark, all new products will be up on our new website launching this Wednesday

Wow Abigail, it truly looks amazing. I can only imagine how excited you are at how it has all come together. And you survived the week to tell the tale. Thanks for the little peak – one day I hope I can visit in person.

Loving it, no wonder your proud. I espacially like that last pic with the small table with the square top and the adorable little ram/sheep? next to it. I would love them both for my garden terrace. I can see it now, a large chair covered in sheep skins, along side it, me snuggled into it, steaming cup of frothy coffee in hand….mmmm. Just going to have to make a trip to your store me thinks.

  6. Congratulations Abigail….the store looks incredible and makes me want to hop on a plane and visit immediately!!! Definitely worth all the hard work…those flowers are sublime!!

This looks amazing Abigail. I want to say a big thank you as , unbeknown to you , you have been a part of getting me through 3 major operations on my spine over the last few months. I look forward to your blog every morning and then spend the day thinking about how to incorporate your ideas into our home. I had to take my iPad to hospital as there was no way I could survive without some creative inspiration from you. Whilst my life has been on hold for a while I have needed some escapism and your blog has given me that – your life is so full on and exciting and I love the fact that you are making the most of it. Once I am better I am going to visit your shop – can’t promise that I will be willing to leave though.
Thank you for being inspirational .
    Bethan

Whhhhhaaaaaaaaaa!!! I’m in lurrrrrve haha! Love everything!! Always wondered what that tile wallpaper would look like in a real setting…been lusting after the whiter one 4EVER….but now seeing them prefer the more rusted darker 1…just flows with the darker colours. I’m living in Liverpool but going to make a special trip down to London just to feast me lil’ beadies on this extravaganza of loveliness….have the defribulators at the ready i may just pass out at the door ;-D

Popped into the store on Saturday and it looked fabulous, loved exploring all the different little areas. Apologies did buy something! Cowboy jug looking gorgeous in our kitchen :-)

    • abigailahern says:

Give it back! Teasing I love the cowboy jug infact they are so popular I haven’t even nabbed one for me yet, so happy it looks fab in your kitchen

  16. Christine says:

Absolutely breathtaking – it’s like walking into a beautiful home and never wanting to leave … or maybe take it all home with you!!! Your hard work has certainly paid off – biggest congratulations to you all.

  17. CJ says:

Woweee its truly scrumptious, a visual feast!
Boring question, is that tin tile wall paper very thick and textured or is it flat and even more boring is it easy to put on the wall? I love it, it’s so transforming and I like the brown with it. Very very good job love your sis’s style too, its really theatrical and opulent, the opposite of uptight!

    • abigailahern says:

Thank you very much indeed. The wall is pretty thick and the best thing its so easy to put up you actually paste the wall not the paper which makes the whole thing way less cumbersome

  18. Danielle says:

I follow your blog religiously and just had to say “CONGRATULATIONS!” I can hear your excitement and its contagious. I have also been in the edge of my seat for the past couple of weeks now waiting for the new flowers, from what I can see in the pics there’s a lot of what I’m looking for. I literally squealed!

I spoke to your lovely store manager Craig last week and I’ve arranged to visit the store on Wednesday to choose some flowers. I’m disappointed I’ll miss the expertise of your sister but I’m sure there’ll be another occasion. Exciting times!

Can’t believe I have left it this long to thank you for a fabulous day in your amazing home on Fri 22nd Feb. It really was the best of days. Can’t wait to get home and paint the sitting room all one colour. (still travelling the country!)

  28. Sarah says:

I absolutely love how you have decorated the store, congratulations, your hard work has certainly paid off!! It is my dream to open a shop in Geneva, just waiting for your new dates for a retail masterclass. Meanwhile, I’m flying over with an empty suitcase soon to visit your shop and will hopefully see you at Anthropologie! Well done to Gem too her flower arrangements are so beautiful.

    • abigailahern says:

  31. sam says:

Hey Abi, I think my last comment got lost. But to say again Massive Congratulations on the store revamp, it looks stunning. Next time I’m in town I shall be over to see it and quite possibly parting with some cash at the same time. It really gives us newbie retailers quite something to aspire to, so thank you for that xx

  32. I’d love to visit but what’s the address. I can’t seem to find it anywhere?

  33. Alex eager says:

Thanks. Will definitely arrange to visit next time I’m in London as my mum lives in Coruch End which isn’t too far. Looking forward to it!

  34. Adriana says:

Hi Abi, popped into the revamped store on Monday – it’s truly awesome, the flow is so much better and with the new seating and bookshelves is so homey, one really doesn’t want to leave! (Perhaps you can charge rent those of us that want to just move in:-) I love how the wallpaper kicks it to another level and the new blooms are breathtaking, so is the new collection ! Congratulations to you and the team, it’s a work of art, which no doubt will continue to evolve and tantalize us x
