How about a burnt orange – Farrow and Ball do a lovely orange colour, other than that red would look cool, or teal something slighly off radar I would suggest. Any gloss finish will look fab

Hi Abigail,

I have just purchased a vintage wooden pedistal round table I would like to turn into a office desk (claw feet and all). My office is at home and is my most neglected space. I need the desk to own the room and build everything from there. Would you suggest a ‘Abi favorate colour’ at the moment, I’ve used quiet alot of green already in the house so something outside of this?. Also, a DYI paint job of high gloss enamel should work?

It’s almost like something was missing from my day yesterday so glad your back today. Loving the mini garden centre, especially the little chalk board price tags, it’s all in the detail!! Have a great weekend. Ps I think England is like the bermuda triangle for the sun!! I might immigrate to australia at this rate!!

Debenhams collection has some lovely shades except they are part of the lights and not sold separately. Have never attended to make my own I fear it is quite difficult
